This little girl is Jaine, she is 2yrs old in this picture. Her mother was a crack cocaine addict and abandoned her and her 2 month old little sister Mirela. Jaine came to us malnurished, with her hair falling, bruises all over, and both of them cried all the time. The reason why they cried so much is because of their mother’s cocaine addiction. Both of them were born crack addicts, or as they say ” crack babies”, and were going through the same withdrawal symptoms as adult addicts go through. Mirela would cry until she lost her voice. Can you imagine what these two baby girls were going through?
It took them close to 6 months before they stopped suffering and were free of most of the symptoms! After staying in our house for babies under the care of a nurse, and being loved and prayed over by ISK staff these two little girls looked like completely different babies. Jaine and Mirela were adopted and now live with a wonderful Christian family.
What a beautiful testimony of God’s unfailing love for his little children and how He has a perfect will for each and everyone of them!

Reaching, Rescuing & Making Disciples

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans… - James 1:27

John and Naomi Schmidt, and their children, Deborah and Thomas, have been reaching, rescuing and making disciples of orphaned and abandoned children in areas of the world where Christ has little or no access. Their ministry started in Brazil ministering the love of Christ among the street kids of Sao Paulo. The Lord has expanded International Street Kids (ISK) ministry from Brazil to 21 Nations in Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Southeast Asia, and other restricted areas of the world.

Reprise: A repetition of a phrase or verse; a return to an original theme.“The amazing thing about starting this band” says John Hicks (Keyboardist) is that its start is just as much about returning as it is about beginning. We are a band composed of people who follow Jesus Christ. Because of this, we create. We create because at the point in history when we believe Jesus died and returned to life, He is making all things that were damaged by His own creation new again; thus, we can create in a new way, but with the original purpose of glorifying our Creator.”Who is The Reprise? Simply put, they are four guys who attended Trinity College of Florida and started out playing in the Chapel Band. They used to be affectionately called “Jeff and the Worships.” They added Steven Causey and are now called “The Reprise.”

Kelly Kelz aka Kelly E. Flores, wants nothing more but to help lead the lost souls to Christ. Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, music was always around her. She began singing at the tender age of 3, and at 7 years old she joined the children’s choir at her church. She was used numerous times for solos; people raved about the little girl with the big voice, she also took part in church plays. Growing up in the church helped her relationship grow strong with the Lord. She knew at a young age that singing unto God was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life, she also wrote her own songs. She attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts as a vocal major. She was also involved in a singing group called Focused with whom she competed in the McDonald’s Gospel Fest.In November of 2004, she had to move to Tampa, Florida because of her father’s job transfer. Although the move was tough for her and her family, she knew that God had a plan for her life and there was a reason for the move. She attended Gaither High School and Wesley Chapel High School, and continued singing in school choirs and ministered at different churches alongside her younger brother (A-FLO), Ray-Ray Clark, and Genesis Parra. Now a high school graduate, she is attending Trinity College of Florida and will continue ministering at different places, while also working on her album. Her EP, Someone Like Me, is out and is selling well.
We are proud to have Kelly promote ISK and we hope you check her out.Follow Kelly:

If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
